Responsibilities
- Develop software tools and automation to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and developer experience.
- Design, build, and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using infrastructure-as-code and automation practices.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, metrics, and observability capabilities using Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch, or similar tools.
- Identify and implement improvements to platform services, infrastructure, and operational processes.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
- Manage application and infrastructure deployments across production and non-production environments using automated delivery pipelines, Helm charts, and GitOps approaches.
- Collaborate with DevOps, ITOps, engineering, and cross-functional teams to promote operational excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a similar role managing cloud infrastructure and system reliability.
- Strong experience designing, building, and operating infrastructure on Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt, CI/CD platforms, and GitLab and Argo CD-based delivery practices.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing workloads in Amazon EKS.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Java, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and operational tooling.
- Experience with automated deployments, delivery pipelines, Helm charts, and GitOps approaches.
- Experience with Kafka, Flink, Spark, Iceberg, or similar distributed data platforms is a strong advantage.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required.
