Responsibilities
- Build systems in real clinical environments to meet healthcare operations needs.
- Ship customer-specific workflow solutions with a focus on product discipline.
- Turn field learning into product leverage for continuous improvement.
- Own the technical reality of deployments, including integration and support.
- Write clean, testable code with a focus on error handling and observability.
- Collaborate closely with product, deployment, and platform teams.
- Compose solutions using existing capabilities and build new ones as needed.
- Help define the forward deployed engineering function and its standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems.
- Strong full-stack or product engineering fundamentals.
- Good product judgment to identify real problems and make practical trade-offs.
- Strong implementation discipline with a focus on readable, testable code.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to work closely with various stakeholders.
- Strong systems thinking to balance local needs with broader product patterns.
- Operational ownership with a focus on post-deployment support and maintenance.
- Collaborative working style with a focus on feedback and shared decision-making.
- Technical communication skills to explain trade-offs clearly.
- Fluency with AI coding tools for efficient delivery.
