Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and evolve telemetry and monitoring systems for infrastructure performance.
- Design and implement cost attribution frameworks for multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems.
- Partner with cloud service providers to optimize cluster configurations and resource utilization.
- Develop engineering practices around efficiency and performance awareness.
- Collaborate with research and product teams to balance performance with cost efficiency.
- Drive architectural improvements and code-level optimizations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience with 1+ year leading complex projects.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems with a focus on reliability and scalability.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Rust, Go, Java).
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Experience optimizing performance of distributed systems.
- Curiosity for system internals and ability to solve performance issues independently.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools in large-scale environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
