Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices for enterprise integrations and business-critical solutions.
Implement reliable and maintainable back-end functionality using Java and Spring Boot.
Implement front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.
Deliver end-to-end solutions across front-end and back-end development activities.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using test-driven development practices.
Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintainability, scalability, and performance.
Support cloud-native development and deployment using AWS services and DevOps tooling.
Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to support project delivery and knowledge sharing.
Provide and receive cross-training across front-end and back-end technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 5 years of experience as an API developer, back-end developer, or in a similar software development role.
Experience designing and developing APIs and microservices in enterprise environments.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and strongly typed object-oriented programming concepts and patterns.
Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, GraphQL, EKS, ECS, AWS CLI, and AppSync.
Experience with cloud DevOps tools and processes including CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and shell scripting.
Preferred experience with Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Preferred experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Cloud platform certification or qualification in AWS and/or GCP is preferred.
Preferred experience developing tooling or automation that improves developer efficiency and workflows.
