Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications, process models, interfaces, records, sites, integrations, and expression rules.
- Build Appian Connected Systems, Integration Objects, reusable components, data types, and expression rules for system-to-system data exchange.
- Collaborate with configuration analysts, business analysts, subject matter experts, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, demonstrations, retrospectives, and other Agile delivery activities.
- Perform unit testing, code reviews, integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and application performance optimization.
- Create technical documentation, support application packaging and environment promotion, and validate releases.
- Mentor junior developers on Appian practices, design patterns, and Federal acquisition domain knowledge.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or three additional years of relevant IT experience in lieu of the degree.
- At least five years of software development experience, including at least one year of Appian or low-code platform development.
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or business process management tools, software development lifecycle concepts, object-oriented programming, database design, web services, APIs, or system integrations.
- Preferred qualifications include Appian Associate or Senior Developer certification, Federal modernization experience, Federal acquisition or contracting knowledge, advanced SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python, Azure, REST or SOAP integrations, DevSecOps, automated testing, accessibility, and data migration experience.
