Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and develop software for complex and critical components.
- Collaborate on requirements, specifications, design reviews, and code reviews.
- Provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert and support team efforts.
- Research and propose solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Assess and help adopt new technologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- At least one software language and familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or training are preferred.
