Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI agents and customer experiences that take actions in production environments.
- Design prompts, reasoning flows, tool calls, and integrations using Salesforce’s agentic AI platform and LLM techniques.
- Own technical components end to end, including architecture, deployment, validation, and observability.
- Build and integrate data pipelines using Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
- Build agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting.
- Deliver proofs of concept and MVPs rapidly, and co-build solutions with customers and partners.
- Share best practices and enablement, surface platform gaps and field insights, and partner with Deployment Strategists to translate business challenges into deployed solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering or technical delivery experience and at least one production system to demonstrate.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Required prior customer-facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward deployed engineering.
- Fluency in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Ability to collaborate with sales teams and customer architects and evaluate AI outputs rigorously.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
- Salesforce platform experience or certifications, including Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Agentforce Specialist, is preferred.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, orchestration patterns, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments is preferred.
