Responsibilities
- Research efficient security solutions and design and develop features for web application protection.
- Work on reverse proxy engines, datapath technologies, and deep packet inspection capabilities for WAF products.
- Troubleshoot, fix, and test product issues and resolve complex technical problems.
- Use debugging tools, generative AI/ML capabilities, API flow analysis, and protocol analyzers for root-cause analysis.
- Deploy security solutions across data management pipelines and databases, preferably on Azure and Azure Databricks.
- Evaluate the performance and security implications of designs and code.
- Collaborate with product managers, customers, and developers to deliver new product features.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with C, C++, Python, or Go and associated standard libraries, packages, or libraries.
- Strong practical Linux skills and experience with multithreaded and asynchronous programming.
- Understanding of large codebases, compilers, linkers, loaders, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with datapath or packet-path systems, inline debugging, and real-time environments.
- Knowledge of firewalls, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, WAFs, web applications, networking, TCP/IP, and cloud security products.
- Understanding of Azure cloud technologies and platforms, web application frameworks, and API frameworks based on REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Ability to design and implement solutions independently with strong analytical skills.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML tools and models, Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, orchestration platforms, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile practices, coding standards, code reviews, and source control management.
