Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, and operation of API and full-stack solutions for travel booking.
- Architect scalable systems for booking flows and checkout journeys.
- Define technical patterns for distributed systems to ensure global scalability.
- Mentor senior engineers and conduct design reviews to elevate engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust foundational logic.
Requirements
- Deep experience in distributed system development, particularly in Scala.
- Strong product thinking with a focus on customer experience.
- Ability to prioritize configuration over customization in system design.
- Technical fearlessness to navigate complex codebases and implement abstractions.
- Pragmatic vision to balance long-term system health with speed of delivery.
