Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable, performant, and accessible frontend components using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers to create user-centered experiences.
- Own UX polish and interaction quality while continuously improving usability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define API interfaces and implement backend logic as needed.
- Influence frontend architectural decisions and promote modularity and maintainability best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals.
- Drive scalable system development and cross-functional product delivery with strong ownership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in frontend engineering roles.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and frontend architecture.
- Track record of delivering high-quality UI/UX in collaboration with design and product teams.
- Ability to write clean, modular, scalable, and reusable code.
- Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Express, or GraphQL.
- Experience as a founder, co-founder, or founding engineer is a bonus.
- Ability to work 5 days per week in the New York office with a fully in-person team.
