Base Salary
$140k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build scalable solutions across the full stack that support users and business objectives
- Develop features, tools, frameworks, and workflows for evolving business and project needs
- Drive projects from conceptualization through deployment
- Maintain application performance, uptime, scalability, code quality, maintainability, security, and design standards
- Participate in on-call rotations to respond to, triage, mitigate, and resolve production issues
- Create runbooks, metrics, and dashboards
- Work collaboratively with teammates using agile development practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced SaaS or similar business environment
- Experience with server-side Java development and modern frameworks such as Spring
- Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL, and ORMs
- Expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS3, HTML5, and single-page application frameworks such as React
- Ability to visualize proposed systems and build them
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in complex systems
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Preferred experience with GCP and AWS
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Valkey, Memcached, and Redis
- Basic UI/UX and prototype design ability
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools and practices
- Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 security frameworks
