Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices for financial products.
- Develop new systems and improve existing systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Apply maintainable clean-code practices and contribute to test-driven development, domain-driven design, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Collaborate with the team to build products that support financial inclusion and cross-border money movement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly with an ambitious and results-driven approach.
