Responsibilities
- Design and develop new and existing software components and recommend improvements to functionality and performance.
- Define and prioritize automation needs for build processes, testing, and security from a CI/CD perspective.
- Analyze applications against technical and business specifications and established standards.
- Develop features across service layers, integrations, user interfaces, and data management.
- Provide technical leadership and design expertise influencing CDK product strategy and long-term technical direction.
- Design scalable, resilient, maintainable, and stable software.
- Collaborate with stakeholders as a subject matter expert to solve complex technical problems.
- Design data models, propose product enhancements, and recommend new technologies.
- Build and modernize automotive desking solutions integrating pricing, financing, and incentives into dealer workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Five years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related occupation.
- Experience architecting and maintaining enterprise applications and services with C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, RESTful services, WCF, and SOAP.
- Experience designing service-oriented and microservices-based backend architectures, including API contracts, inter-service communication, authentication, and scalable application layers.
- Experience designing and maintaining relational and NoSQL data stores including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
- Experience developing responsive web applications with Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
- Experience implementing MVC architectures and integrating PostgreSQL databases with applications deployed on Heroku.
- Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, LINQ, GraphQL, and OData for data access and integration.
- Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-native applications using AWS, EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and IAM.
