Senior AI Engineer - Supply Chain
Cognite - AI for IndustryResponsibilities
- Own and architect packaged, customer-ready multi-agent supply chain solutions using ATLAS AI.
- Build modular agents with tool use, skills, memory, and multi-step reasoning that interact with the Cognite Data Fusion Knowledge Graph.
- Design reliable tools for querying and traversing complex supply chain graph relationships and returning accurate structured data.
- Develop domain-specific prompt chains and evaluation frameworks for accurate and operationally safe recommendations.
- Use Cognite Flows to support visibility, exception surfacing, root cause analysis, recommendations, adaptive planning, and action workflows.
- Rapidly prototype and deploy solutions using customer or synthetic data, test with customers and subject matter experts, and support integrations.
- Lead discovery workshops and collaborate with product, value delivery, field engineering, sales, and partners to improve and scale packaged agents.
- Support pilot rollouts, troubleshoot agent behavior, gather feedback, and incorporate customer and partner learning into agent design and packaging.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of AI/ML engineering experience and a track record of delivering production-grade AI features.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and LLM-driven or agentic systems using LangChain or similar frameworks.
- Ability to query and navigate complex relational and graph data models and work with knowledge graphs.
- Full-stack engineering experience with React or similar, TypeScript, and Python, Kotlin, or similar backend technologies.
- Understanding of imperfect industrial data and cross-functional supply chain data, including time series and sparse metadata.
- Experience using AI-powered coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or similar tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code and apply testing, version control, and code review practices.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Preferred: supply chain or SAP experience, including MM, PP, and PM, or experience with o9, Kinaxis, or OMP.
- Preferred: knowledge of ISA-95, ISA-88, SCOR DS, or other supply chain frameworks.
- Preferred: Cognite Data Fusion Data Objects and Knowledge Graph experience, vector database and RAG familiarity, and cloud-native development with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
