Base Salary
$147k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop rich user interfaces using React and robust backend services in Python.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from ideation and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Scale systems cost-effectively and improve reliability, automation, availability, latency, and application health.
- Contribute to software design, feature development, platform and framework enhancements, capacity planning, and deployment tooling.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, research scientists, and engineering teams to deliver projects.
- Mentor less-senior engineers in technical and non-technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of technical experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- Professional web development experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong Python engineering skills.
- Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience with analytics and observability tools such as Heap or Datadog.
- Understanding of integrating AI-powered capabilities, including prompt engineering, memory management, agent workflows, and external tool integrations.
- Strong communication skills and ownership of results.
