Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions that meet regulatory needs and support customer experiences.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, refactor systems, and improve performance.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and influence long-term technology strategy in a you-build-it, you-own-it environment.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
- Lead cross-functional engineering efforts and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 7+ years coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, and Scala.
- Preferred experience includes 3+ years with databases and database management systems, cloud technologies, front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, and cloud-environment troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes 4+ years contributing to open source frameworks and creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred experience includes 3+ years with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, and Git-based version-control systems.
- Experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI productivity tooling, observability, mentoring engineers, coding standards, design patterns, and large-scale technical initiatives is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
