Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture design teams and define and implement application-level architecture.
- Develop complex applications, components, and subsystems across multiple platforms using full-stack technologies.
- Design and deploy high-performance streaming and non-streaming APIs and integrate API authentication, gateways, and subscription portals.
- Develop and maintain Angular front-end applications integrated with REST APIs.
- Optimize Oracle database architectures and create PL/SQL stored procedures.
- Build and support CI/CD automation and production deployment pipelines.
- Execute performance, chaos, automation, unit, and integration testing and validate application reliability under high loads.
- Configure monitoring dashboards and alerts, analyze testing logs, and support certificate handling.
- Create comprehensive application documentation and full project life-cycle plans.
- Coordinate complex schedules and assignments, manage project risks and goals, and act as a liaison with business units.
- Provide technical evaluations and solutions, advise senior management on technical strategy, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields and three years of relevant experience.
- Five or three years, respectively, of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer or in a closely related occupation performing full-stack Java development in a financial or technology services environment.
- Expertise designing and deploying high-performance APIs using Spring WebFlux, MyBatis, JPA, Swagger-Hub, Open API Specs Generator, API Gateway, ESG, and JSON Web Token.
- Experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Jasmine, and Karma for front-end development and testing.
- Experience with Cucumber Automation, Datadog, Gremlin, Grafana, and resource-intensive reliability testing.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL, IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code, Insomnia, SpringBoot, Stratum, JUnit, utPLSQL, Jenkins, and Confluence.
- Experience with AWS, Advanced Central Monitoring, Venafi, JIRA, PHP, and CodeIgniter, as well as CI/CD and cloud infrastructure operations.
- Ability to perform complex technical and functional analysis, develop creative solutions, advise management, coordinate projects, and mentor junior team members.
