Base Salary
$300k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute improvements to the codebase for faster and safer shipping.
- Collaborate with senior engineers in a low-process environment.
- Drive decisions and consensus through documentation and specs.
- Own features end-to-end, primarily focusing on backend systems.
- Architect scalable solutions for new partner experiences.
- Work directly with PMs and business partners to refine the roadmap.
- Provide and receive feedback for growth within a diverse team.
Requirements
- Natural drive to dive into unknown codebases and deliver results quickly.
- Strong product thinking focused on customer experience.
- Ability to direct AI agents and maintain complex systems.
- Experience designing guardrails and feedback loops for AI-assisted development.
- Experience or willingness to learn distributed system development in Scala.
- Ability to articulate problem-solving approaches and tradeoffs.
