Responsibilities
- Guide customers and consulting partners in designing reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB.
- Develop reference architectures, patterns, AI blueprints, joint proposals, and solution strategies with partners.
- Support sales through technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.
- Build trusted relationships with technical partners, influence decisions, address objections, and drive partner demand.
- Drive partner Center of Excellence strategies and implementation of solution architectures across the regional ecosystem.
- Mentor local partner organizations on general IT and application operations.
- Translate technical and business concepts for executives and management.
- Partner with account teams across multiple opportunities and relay field feedback to Product Management.
- Support trade shows and account-based marketing events.
- Mentor pre-sales team members and share best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and technical aptitude.
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Ability to code in one or more scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C, C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred experience selling databases, deploying applications with major cloud providers, database programming, and data modeling.
- Preferred knowledge of Spark, cloud storage and streaming, API management, Kafka, serverless technologies, and relevant cloud or MongoDB certifications.
