Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Implement security best practices throughout development and deployment processes.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with the incident response team to address security incidents.
- Foster collaboration between development, operations, and security teams.
- Communicate updates on DevOps, security, and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes and security measures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or security roles in an AWS environment.
- Solid understanding of Linux-based server environments and distributions.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with security fundamentals including IAM.
- Proficient with Kubernetes containerization.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD fundamentals.
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks like GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience with IAC platforms and tools such as Terraform, CDK, or Pulumi.
