Responsibilities
- Move between manual and automated testing according to team needs, features, and project timelines.
- Participate across the software development lifecycle and produce quality code and automation scripts.
- Design testing suites for test-driven and behavior-driven development and identify quality and process improvements.
- Write code and testing frameworks for APIs, RESTful APIs, web services, and other non-UI components.
- Integrate automated test suites with continuous integration tools for frequent execution.
- Develop test plans, test conditions, test cases, test data, and execution procedures with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Coordinate assigned test-team activities, review client test plans and scripts, prioritize test execution, and provide feedback to internal and external clients.
- Act as the test-engineering point of contact for assigned moderately complex client projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, coding, designing, and development.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Java, with experience using Java, IntelliJ, and Selenium.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and server tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience maintaining automation frameworks and test tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Strong communication, critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, self-motivation, resourcefulness, teamwork, and ownership.
- Preferred experience with Appium, HTML, CSS, XPath, ADB, Maven, API testing, Cucumber, Gherkin, automation framework creation, point-of-sale systems, GCP, or AWS.
