Base Salary
$148k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and support backend software and web applications.
- Create and maintain Django-based APIs and update processes for existing applications.
- Own production deployments at scale for critical backend services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product, technical, and integration requirements.
- Document software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and recommendations.
- Support software releases and evaluate systems, subsystems, and components with Quality Assurance.
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior and other Software Development Engineers.
- Track performance metrics and help ensure software is delivered on time, to specification, and within budget.
- Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
- Act as a technical contact for outside vendors and customers and work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with Python and Django.
- Experience developing APIs using Django.
- Experience with PHP.
- Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS, including production deployments at scale for critical backend services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of relevant work experience is listed for the role.
- AdTech industry experience is preferred.
