Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tooling for safe, production-like ephemeral environments.
- Contribute features to make environments faster and easier to trust.
- Enhance self-service onboarding for product teams.
- Build systems for data seeding, sanitization, and service isolation.
- Support multi-service architectures and reproducible setups.
- Explore and implement AI-powered tooling for environment provisioning.
- Maintain the health of the environment platform, including automated cleanup and observability.
- Collaborate with product and platform teams to gather feedback and support adoption.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
- Hands-on or learning experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
- Comfortable working across the stack, including frontend and backend development.
- Internal product mindset, treating the platform as a product for other engineers.
- Understanding of the importance of high-fidelity environments for testing.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance coding efficiency.
- Ownership mindset, proactively seeking improvements and owning projects.
