Responsibilities
- Design and implement user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
- Build visually rich user experiences with custom UI on the iOS platform.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with security treated as a first-class concern.
- Experiment with new technologies and continuously improve the iOS application.
- Own the full application lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the App Store.
- Contribute technical and product ideas that improve the status quo.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree or comparable qualification in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.
- Profound professional experience as an iOS Engineer.
- Proficiency with UIKit and Auto Layout, with interest in additional technology stacks.
- Strong analytical thinking in both technical and product contexts.
- Ability to stay current with changes in the iOS ecosystem.
- Excellent English communication skills; German is optional.
- Clear and targeted communication with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
- Fintech experience is an asset but is not required.
- Interest in investing or prior customer experience with Scalable Capital is beneficial.
