Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
- Provide architectural direction and leadership to engineering teams and influence technical vision with product managers and stakeholders.
- Prepare technical design specifications and drive architectural governance and platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer outcomes with organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and mentor development staff.
- Support learning cultures, technical decision-making, team communication, and successful delivery outcomes.
- Lead cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives and translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also stated.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, enhancing, scaling, and improving reliable systems and applications.
- Significant experience in analytical system engineering design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products using microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; 15 years of full-time education is required.
