Responsibilities
- Define and document solution scope with account managers and clients.
- Design Evertz equipment and end-to-end enterprise systems, refining solutions into final quotations and supporting documentation.
- Deliver client demonstrations and proof-of-concept documentation.
- Lead proposal creation, bid-set documentation, design packages, gap analyses, functional specifications, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while documenting assumptions.
- Act as the technical authority through design, commissioning, training, and sustaining engineering.
- Build relationships with new customers and maintain the existing customer base.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
- Education in electronics engineering or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience deploying file-based workflow solutions.
- Experience designing, documenting, and sustaining full-lifecycle, client-facing enterprise projects.
- Experience with file-based broadcast, production, post-production, nonlinear distribution, automated transcoding, quality control, and business or traffic-system workflows.
- Familiarity with BXF and industry-standard traffic solutions.
- Experience with broadcast IT and network infrastructure.
- Understanding of application integration with business systems using XML as the interchange format.
- Knowledge of current digital video compression standards and file types.
- Strong written, verbal, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and self-management skills.
