Base Salary

$77k - $129k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement test plans for new features and bug fixes.
  • Review test results, report software quality and stability, and test and certify software, SDKs, and AI models.
  • Collaborate with account managers and software developers to understand customer requirements and formulate imagery and remote-sensing solutions.
  • Work with software project teams to build new software and plan future releases.
  • Test imagery-processing and analysis user experiences, workflows, and analytics with customer data.
  • Help develop the roadmap for imagery and remote-sensing support across relevant ArcGIS products.
  • Support technology demonstrations at industry events.
  • Serve as a technical contact for business partners and integrators regarding Esri interoperability.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of industry experience in a software development or QA environment.
  • Strong understanding of image analysis and remote-sensing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with QA processes, test-plan implementation, test automation, and product certification.
  • Familiarity with GIS concepts, spatial data, and geospatial workflows.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and AI prompt engineering.
  • Effective project management, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Technical writing experience, including samples, blog posts, and product documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or a related field.
  • Preferred: master's degree in a related field.
  • Preferred: strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Preferred: experience with ArcGIS or open-source GIS software.
  • Preferred: experience with remote sensing, satellite imagery, and multispectral image analysis.
  • Preferred: experience designing modern desktop user experiences.
