Responsibilities
- Partner with executive sponsors to scope Forward Deployed Engineer projects into concrete, time-boxed deliverables with clear ROI.
- Lead technical discovery and architecture reviews, identifying integration complexity and infrastructure constraints.
- Work hands-on with Forward Deployed Engineers on workflows, settings, integrations, and platform tooling configuration.
- Own technical enablement and adoption through training, playbooks, reference workflows, and customer coaching.
- Monitor feasibility and adjust engagement scope when delivery constraints emerge.
- Identify expansion opportunities with the account team.
- Escalate product gaps, integration friction, and recurring customer pain to Product and Engineering.
- Build reusable playbooks for the broader Forward Deployed Engineer organization.
- Maintain the executive relationship and serve as the primary customer contact from kickoff through handoff.
- Translate between business outcomes and technical implementation for executives and build teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Solutions Architecture, Deployment Strategy, technical consulting, or Engagement Manager roles involving technical scoping and delivery in AI-production workflows.
- Strong understanding of agentic coding and LLM behavior, production limitations, and resilient workflows.
- Hands-on comfort with Cursor workflows, integrations, and platform configuration.
- Ability to read enough Python and JavaScript/TypeScript to partner effectively with Forward Deployed Engineers.
- Experience shipping AI-native workflows beyond the prototype stage.
- Ability to assess unfamiliar enterprise engineering organizations and scope high-leverage interventions quickly.
- Executive presence and technical credibility with C-suite stakeholders and engineering leads.
- Domain experience in FSI, insurance, telecom, high-tech, healthcare/life sciences, or semiconductor is a strong plus.
