Base Salary
$105k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with frontend features, backend services, and efficient data management.
- Make architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and deliver complex business-critical initiatives.
- Develop AI-powered engineering tools and automation to improve delivery, code quality, testing, security remediation, documentation, and productivity.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design and operate cloud-native solutions using managed services, event-driven architectures, infrastructure automation, and scalable deployment patterns.
- Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, fallback handling, and other observability and reliability capabilities.
- Use containerization, orchestration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices to automate software delivery.
- Improve developer productivity through reusable platforms, automation, self-service tooling, and standardized practices.
- Collaborate across teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead design sessions and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
- At least 4 years of experience with backend technologies such as .NET, Java, ASP.NET Core, or Spring Boot.
- Experience designing, architecting, and maintaining scalable distributed systems and full-stack applications.
- Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, and Hooks.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript frameworks, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, PowerShell, or similar programming and scripting languages.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and structured data formats including JSON, XML, and YAML.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience deploying customer-facing solutions with monitoring, observability, fallback handling, latency considerations, and cost awareness.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education/work experience.
