Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks with architects.
- Identify improvements, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and optimize distributed-system performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor members of the engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 7+ years coding in more than two listed programming languages, and experience with databases, cloud platforms, open-source frameworks, APIs, front-end frameworks, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience with AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, observability, mentoring engineers, cross-functional engineering leadership, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
