Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain features across React web applications, React Native mobile applications, and Python/Django backend services.
  • Design and implement documented and tested APIs that support intermittent connectivity and real-world conditions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to define technical solutions and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
  • Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews and on-call rotations, and improve development workflows, tooling, documentation, and engineering practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience building backend services and APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Django or a similar Python web framework.
  • Experience building web applications with React and mobile applications with React Native for iOS and Android.
  • Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and designing and consuming APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development workflows.
  • Strong communication, feedback, problem-solving, and software quality skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Django REST Framework, AWS and cloud infrastructure, feature flagging, incremental rollouts, AI agents for development workflows, offline-first mobile applications, mobile performance optimization, and mentoring or technical project leadership.
