Responsibilities

Design and lead the delivery of new platform capabilities for investigations and monitoring.
Operate services that handle large volumes of data with defined SLOs.
Enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency of data systems and APIs.
Raise quality standards for reliability, security, and compliance.
Mentor engineers and influence technical strategy across teams.
Own backend services for customer-facing APIs and data observability.
Lead initiatives from discovery to post-launch learning.
Architect event-driven workflows with strong data contracts.
Drive operational excellence for high-QPS systems.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to meet customer requirements.

Expert backend engineering experience with cloud-hosted services and data pipelines.
Deep proficiency in APIs, streaming systems, and distributed systems.
Strong SQL skills and experience with analytical data models.
Demonstrated ownership of large-scale systems operating at high volumes.
High judgment on reliability, security, and cost management.
Ability to lead and mentor without direct authority.
