Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Use AI coding assistants for feature development, code generation, refactoring, and unit-test creation while maintaining quality and security.
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design and integrate event-driven messaging workflows with Apache Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.
- Manage MongoDB and relational databases, including query optimization, schema design, and data persistence models.
- Implement authentication and authorization patterns using JWT.
- Apply static code analysis with SonarQube and resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.
- Write unit and integration tests with JUnit and Mockito, conduct performance testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience with Java 11/21+ and Spring Boot.
- Deep understanding of RESTful architecture, API design, and JWT authentication.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants while maintaining code quality and security standards.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing messaging architectures with Kafka and Pub/Sub.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and database design principles.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, JSON, and YAML.
- Experience with SonarQube or similar quality scanning tools and vulnerability remediation.
- Proficiency with JUnit and Mockito.
