Responsibilities
- Design and build intelligent workflows that orchestrate specialized AI agents.
- Develop end-to-end multi-agent pipelines covering data retrieval, reasoning, evaluation, and decision-making.
- Integrate and select frontier or fine-tuned AI models based on complexity, cost, and accuracy trade-offs.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python or ServiceNow.
- Build user interfaces and dashboards with Service Portal, React, or Angular.
- Apply RAG strategies, vector stores, and prompt optimization to ground and improve AI reasoning.
- Implement observability, logging, traceability, versioning, and performance monitoring across production workflows.
- Collaborate with domain experts, product managers, and engineers to deliver resilient agentic systems.
- Participate in code reviews, post-deployment analysis, and production debugging.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of software development experience with strong command of Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered or agent-based systems for production use cases.
- Experience implementing frontier AI models in enterprise workflow applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows, and scalable backend design.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Experience deploying AI or automation systems in production with versioning, traceability, and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with RAG, vector stores, and prompt optimization.
- Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform or willingness to learn it.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate or critically evaluate AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Strong focus on code quality, observability, logging, and traceability.
