Responsibilities
- Own the Nash React Native driver app used in live delivery operations.
- Set the technical roadmap and shape the app’s architecture, performance, UX, and reliability.
- Architect and build performant, reliable mobile features for real-world constraints such as offline networks, old devices, and long shifts.
- Design and iterate on jobs, navigation, scanning, status update, and offline-resilience flows.
- Partner with Product on feature definition and influence what gets built.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs, real-time updates, and system design.
- Move features from concept through development and production deployment.
- Raise mobile engineering standards across the company.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
- Deep expertise in React Native and its tradeoffs.
- Experience building applications for frontline workers, drivers, or other real-world operational audiences.
- Strong product intuition focused on UX, latency, resilience, error states, and edge cases.
- Ability to independently identify improvements and take action.
- Experience or demonstrated passion for craftsmanship through side projects, open source, or other software projects.
- Ability to own a critical product surface area end to end.
- Experience shipping a driver app, delivery app, field operations app, or other frontline mobile product is preferred.
