Responsibilities
- Develop software within the ServiceNow platform as part of the ServiceNow team.
- Analyze existing systems, data availability, reporting requirements, problems, and system designs with some oversight.
- Assist with the design, configuration, and development of custom applications and software modules.
- Use Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub for scripting and platform development.
- Design and develop applications using REST/SOAP and JSON/XML integrations with IntegrationHub and the MID Server where applicable.
- Work within a team to improve the ServiceNow platform and follow software development and quality practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Three years of web and software development experience.
- Knowledge of software design, software engineering principles, and the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, J2EE, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, virtualization technologies, and Team Foundation Server.
- Expertise in secured web design and development.
- Ability to analyze issues, diagnose causes, determine goals, and recommend corrective actions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to discuss requirements and system-level requirements with non-technical personnel.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification is identified as a qualification of top candidates.
- Preferred master's degree, healthcare industry experience, systems-integration experience, and BizTalk experience.
- Background in systems and network administration is a valuable plus.
