Responsibilities
- Act as the technical lead for designing, architecting, and overseeing the team’s projects.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across customer environments and geographies.
- Design and implement automated builds, testing, deployment, and rollback strategies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and workflows for cloud-based services.
- Create quality gates and validation frameworks to ensure release readiness.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and assist with root cause analysis.
- Manage and optimize infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and vSphere environments.
- Prepare runbooks and documentation for internal teams and end users.
- Ensure security and regulatory compliance during deployments.
- Evaluate and implement relevant technologies and tools, improve team processes, and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with software development, QA, customer support, and product teams on high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- 13+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or equivalent.
- At least two years of professional experience as a lead engineer or developer.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling, cloud platforms, Python automation, AWS services, Azure, build systems, release engineering, infrastructure as code, configuration management, containerization, and code quality and security tooling.
- Strong AWS experience including EC2, ECS, VPCs, subnetting, routing, CDNs, load balancers, and security groups.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and executing deployment plans, release plans, MOPs, and rollback procedures for production environments.
- Proficiency across Windows, Linux, and macOS and across Intel and ARM platforms.
- Experience leading an Agile/Scrum team and owning or orchestrating large-scale or enterprise software releases.
- Preferred experience debugging network or endpoint device logs, deploying cloud-based and endpoint software, and using monitoring, observability, and alerting platforms.
