Base Salary
$124k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with scheduling, manufacturing, factory operations, and business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and develop scalable scheduling solutions.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between scheduling teams and engineering organizations to improve cycle time, tool utilization, throughput, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Develop, prototype, deploy, and continuously improve solutions using scheduling data, optimization engines, simulation environments, APIs, and business systems.
- Design and implement decision-support tools, workflows, dashboards, and AI-driven scheduling capabilities with software engineers, data scientists, planners, and operations leaders.
- Analyze manufacturing, supply chain, service, and operational data to identify bottlenecks, scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and deploy analytical models, automation frameworks, and AI-enabled solutions using Python, SQL, optimization algorithms, simulation tools, and cloud platforms.
- Lead proof-of-concepts, pilot deployments, production rollouts, customer workshops, requirements gathering, and design reviews.
- Communicate findings and implementation strategies to technical and business leadership and influence roadmap decisions and adoption.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in manufacturing scheduling, planning processes, operations research, optimization techniques, AI-enabled decision-support systems, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, constraint management, capacity planning, factory operations, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
- Ability to solve ambiguous and complex operational problems using business context, technical expertise, analytical rigor, and systems thinking.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical and business decisions without direct authority.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to act as a customer advocate and align solutions with practical business needs and operational outcomes.
