Base Salary
$149k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise Systems of Work across Jira, Confluence, Rovo, and the Atlassian platform.
- Lead current-state to future-state workflow transformation, operating model design, governance, Centers of Excellence, RACI structures, and platform team design.
- Drive cross-functional Atlassian adoption across HR, Finance, Marketing, PMO, Operations, and Engineering.
- Design target-state architectures covering SaaS, identity and SSO, data residency, integrations, Forge and Connect apps, Marketplace solutions, and migration paths.
- Co-design AI-native workflows involving Rovo agents, knowledge grounding, Teamwork Graph enrichment, AI governance, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
- Create durable reference architectures, ADRs, Forge prototypes, Terraform/IaC modules, Compass scorecards, and automation rule libraries.
- Lead executive discovery with CIOs, CTOs, engineering leaders, and platform leaders and translate outcomes into roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Orchestrate execution across Solutions Engineering, Solution Architecture, TAS/FDE, Professional Services, partners, and customer stakeholders.
- Capture field patterns as product and platform requirements, mentor architects, and represent Atlassian through talks and published technical materials.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of customer-facing technical, advisory, consulting, or transformation experience.
- Demonstrated ownership and delivery of end-to-end transformations for Fortune 1000, large regulated, or public sector customers.
- Executive presence, strong written communication, and the ability to produce executive-quality memos, ADRs, and design documents.
- Strong workflow and systems thinking with the ability to map complex processes and design scalable ways of working.
- Experience with enterprise architecture concepts including cloud-native design, integration patterns, identity, security, and data.
- Ability to prototype, debug, and read code in at least one of Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, Node, or Python.
- Ability to work credibly across IT, PMO, HR, Finance, and senior business stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work across customer time zones.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS or equivalent hyperscaler architecture, Forward Deployed or Customer Engineering experience, senior architect or Principal Consultant experience, consulting experience, Atlassian Forge or Cloud migration experience, AI/LLM architecture experience, relevant certifications, and public technical artifacts.
