Base Salary
$210k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build product features within a compliance-regulated cloud environment.
- Develop features specific to AWS GovCloud users, including authentication and compliance capabilities.
- Create abstractions to facilitate feature development without direct access to the government cloud.
- Enable seamless feature integration across commercial and government cloud environments.
- Analyze applications for security gaps and implement necessary changes.
- Collaborate with product teams to align on security controls and solutions.
- Mentor other engineers on secure design patterns for regulated environments.
- Support federal customers in our CMMC environment, including handling escalations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
- Proven track record of success in a senior software engineering role.
- Experience in building software for compliance-regulated or security-sensitive environments.
- Ability to reason about application layer security and implement necessary changes.
- Familiarity with high-level programming languages; Ruby and TypeScript preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work across various areas of the tech stack.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to finding effective solutions.
- Ability to work sustainably and avoid burnout.
