Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems and conduct software testing and analysis.
- Create test plans, test strategies, test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Perform manual, functional, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and web services testing.
- Drive test automation initiatives using scripting languages, automation frameworks, and tools.
- Identify requirements gaps, testing impediments, risks, and potential software issues.
- Track defects through resolution and provide timely test updates to management.
- Collaborate with development, business, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.
- Establish collaborative relationships and support project test phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
- Four to six years of software testing experience.
- Strong QA background in manual and functional testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle queries.
- Experience preparing test plans and strategy documents.
- Experience writing test cases, gathering requirements, and testing web services.
- Understanding of formal software test design techniques and QA processes and standards.
- Experience with functional, end-to-end, regression, and smoke testing.
- Expertise in scripting languages and logical implementations.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Security and performance testing exposure is preferred.
- People management skills and the ability to manage conflicts, increase productivity, hire, and grow talent.
