Responsibilities

Build and improve Wave’s payment products and user experiences.
Own features and improvements end-to-end, from understanding the problem and design through deployment and production monitoring.
Work across backend, web, mobile, and infrastructure as needed.
Integrate Wave with external services such as electrical utility companies.
Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, tech leads, cross-functional teammates, and customer support.
Investigate operational issues and help resolve customer problems.

At least 5 years of professional experience as a product engineer.
Fluent English is required; bilingual French is a strong bonus.
Willingness to travel to an operating location at least once per year for a minimum of 6 consecutive days.
Candidates must be based in an eligible talent hub country or operating market.
Prior experience with the listed technologies is a strong plus but is not required.
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly across diverse teams, learn complex systems, and improve code and engineering processes.
