Responsibilities
- Design, develop, improve, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements, develop solution strategies, and integrate software with business objectives.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, technology communities, and initiatives that promote technical excellence.
- Implement secure coding and unit testing practices to protect data and ensure reliable software design.
- Evolve infrastructure and deployment pipelines and support robust, scalable, and secure delivery of digital solutions.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, communicate complex information, and influence stakeholders across business functions.
- Lead or guide complex assignments and contribute to policy, operational effectiveness, and employee development as applicable.
Requirements
- Experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
- Experience developing microservices and APIs.
- Experience with any relational database.
- Strong proficiency in a scripting language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
- Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Knowledge of Kafka or another messaging system is highly valued.
- Experience with artifact management and deployment pipelines is highly valued.
- Experience integrating LLMs using agentic AI is highly valued.
- Experience with cloud or containerized platforms such as AWS, Azure, or OpenShift is highly valued.
- Ability to apply risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
