Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery of modular e-commerce add-ons across backend, frontend, and integrations.
- Design and implement complex backend logic with Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, gates, and policies.
- Design optimized database schemas and performance strategies for high-traffic, multi-tenant systems.
- Lead frontend integration in a SingleSpa micro-frontend setup using Vue.js 3 and related technologies.
- Own Docker-based environments, CI/CD, semantic versioning, release processes, and stable production rollouts.
- Ensure reliable live operations through monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident management in AWS environments.
- Act as Technical Lead and final reviewer, mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce architecture and code-quality standards.
- Promote and evaluate AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, defining appropriate team practices, guardrails, and quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing, scaling, and operating complex full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Expert knowledge of PHP 8.x and Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, gates, and policies.
- Strong frontend development experience; expertise in Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and state management such as Pinia is a major plus.
- Strong architecture experience with secure, multi-tenant, distributed systems and maintainable software design principles.
- Advanced database and performance-engineering knowledge, including MySQL/RDS, schema design, indexing strategies, and Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, semantic versioning, AWS infrastructure, and production monitoring and alerting.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring senior engineers, performing high-quality code reviews, and translating technical decisions into business value.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, plus the ability to assess their productivity and quality impact.
- Experience in e-commerce or SaaS environments is preferred.
