Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of modular add-ons across backend, frontend, integrations, and production operations.
- Design and implement complex Laravel backend logic, including queues and events, and optimize database schemas for high-traffic e-commerce environments.
- Lead frontend integration in a SingleSpa micro-frontend setup using Vue.js 3 and ensure consistent performance and user experience.
- Own Docker-based environments, CI/CD, semantic versioning, release processes, and stable production rollouts.
- Ensure reliable live operations through monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident management across AWS environments.
- Act as Technical Lead and final reviewer by mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, enforcing quality standards, and maintaining consistent architecture.
- Promote and evaluate AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows, defining production guardrails, best practices, and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience developing, scaling, and operating complex full-stack web applications in production environments.
- Expert knowledge of PHP 8.x and Laravel, including middleware, queues, events, gates, and policies.
- Strong full-stack development experience, with Vue.js 3, TypeScript, and modern state management such as Pinia preferred.
- Expertise designing secure, multi-tenant, distributed systems with a strong understanding of SOLID and DRY principles.
- Advanced database and performance-engineering experience with MySQL/RDS, complex schema design, indexing strategies, and Redis caching.
- Experience with Docker-based environments, CI/CD pipelines, semantic versioning, AWS infrastructure, and production monitoring and alerting.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring senior engineers, conducting high-quality code reviews, and communicating technical decisions as business value.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted and agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, plus the ability to evaluate their impact on productivity and code quality.
