Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications for CPU/GPU and embedded SoC platforms.
- Implement core features for synthetic reality applications including rendering systems and simulation frameworks.
- Deliver complex designs or subsystems with minimal oversight.
- Collaborate with hardware, simulation, and design teams for integrated AR solutions.
- Develop safety-critical graphical user interfaces for cockpit and mission displays.
- Implement software in compliance with DO-178C and related avionics standards.
- Enforce secure software development practices aligned with DoD cybersecurity requirements.
- Contribute to testing strategies, tooling, and CI/CD infrastructure.
- Support requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification activities.
- Participate in program reviews and support hardware/software integration.
- Optimize real-time performance across embedded environments.
- Debug and resolve system-level issues across various interfaces.
- Collaborate with human factors engineering for compliance with usability standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 7+ years of professional C++ development experience.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems like VxWorks or Integrity.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ in embedded environments.
- Ability to create data-driven visuals and control game objects.
- Familiarity with build processes and compiler toolchains.
- Understanding of memory management, multithreading, and runtime optimization.
- Strong 3D math and numerical computing experience.
- Experience with Jira, Perforce, and Confluence.
- Professionalism and strong communication skills.
- US Citizenship required for security clearance.
