Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements and scenario needs.
- Identify dependencies and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance, maintainability, effectiveness, and ROI.
- Partner with stakeholders and project managers on workgroup project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide other engineers, and participate in on-call monitoring and incident restoration.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring consistency, and operations at scale.
- Work closely with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to develop innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with Python, C++, C#, ML, NLP, and search technologies.
- Focus or experience in agentic development, analytical problem-solving, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Services, including Azure, Entra, and O365.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred experience as a software developer engineer and familiarity with cloud, AI, computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.
- Experience working with agile, diverse, and geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Ability to work independently, build relationships with senior technical and business leaders, and communicate fluently in English.
