Base Salary
$113k - $158k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AEM solution design and provide architectural direction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with clients, business analysts, QA, developers, DevOps teams, and vendors to align implementation approaches.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical solution designs, integration designs, and project documentation.
- Design integrations between AEM and commerce, CRM, ERP, analytics, and marketing platforms.
- Translate requirements into componentized AEM solutions, implementation patterns, and delivery guidance.
- Guide developers, review technical approaches and code, troubleshoot complex issues, and remove delivery blockers.
- Assess wireframes and mockups for feasibility, component reuse, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.
- Design AEM content workflows and apply project-level governance and quality standards.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release readiness, and change-management requirements.
- Monitor technical milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress; provide estimates and planning input.
- Communicate technical recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences and mentor team members.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering solutions with AEM Sites and AEM Assets.
- 3+ years of experience architecting enterprise-grade CMS or AEM implementations.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and/or Adobe Managed Services; on-premises AEM experience is valuable.
- Strong experience with Java, HTTP, REST APIs, custom AEM components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue.
- Experience leading complex implementations involving multiple teams, technologies, or workstreams.
- Ability to create architecture diagrams, maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot implementation issues, and assess code and design decisions.
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation, collaboration, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile delivery environments and tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
- Preferred: experience with Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, or other Adobe Experience Cloud products.
- Preferred: experience with technical discovery, solution presentations, pre-sales activities, Adobe AEM certification, or developer mentoring.
