Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Android features for Home Protection experiences.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and device teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Contribute to app architecture, design discussions, and technical decisions.
- Write maintainable Kotlin using modern Android frameworks and appropriate cross-platform frameworks.
- Implement and expand dynamically rendered, backend-driven mobile UI frameworks using JSON schemas.
- Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience across hardware and software integration layers.
- Debug and resolve production and connectivity issues.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Spec-Driven Development or dynamically rendered UI frameworks driven by backend JSON schemas.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex client-side state logic.
- Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, though coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may be considered.
