Responsibilities
- Establish enterprise architecture for a large technology transformation across existing applications and environments.
- Define technical architectures for products in collaboration with Product Architects.
- Review and select technical and application architecture solutions.
- Approve final design approaches and address technical issues and concerns.
- Lead large-scale architectural projects and organizational change.
- Mentor developers pursuing architecture careers and provide leadership to development teams.
- Apply architecture practices across business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and governance domains.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
- 10+ years of directly related technical architecture experience in a global, product-focused organization.
- Working knowledge of architecture frameworks and expertise with architecture and design patterns and tools.
- Experience reviewing and selecting technical and application architecture solutions.
- Experience working with Technical and Application Architects.
- Hands-on experience with software development life cycles, modern programming languages, and web-based development frameworks.
- Experience with diverse technology platforms and large-scale architectural projects.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, strategic planning, mentoring, and organizational change leadership skills.
- Preferred: Master’s degree and working knowledge of UNIX, Oracle, SQL Server, TCP/IP, and one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: Knowledge of quality standards, legislation, and best practices, with the ability to build effective relationships and manage priorities under pressure.
